Fines
Late Fines
Fines are levied on items returned late. The fine for returning borrowed or checked-out library items late is N$5 per hour per item for Short Loan items and N$5 per item per day for Open Shelf items.
Items can be renewed twice. You can do this in a number of ways:
- My Library Account at https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=sso&custid=s1154700&groupid=main&profile=eds: login with your staff/student/member NUST domain username and password
- Email: email your renewal request to library@nust.na
- Telephone: call any of the library contact numbers and request for renewal
- In-person: you can come to the library and request items to be renewed
