Library Lovers' Month - February 2018 Competition

The Library is running a competition to celebrate Library Lover’s Month this February. The competition is open to registered NUST students and the closing date is 28 February at 16:30.

Write a love letter to your library, take a selfie with your letter and tag @NustNamibiaLib on Twitter #NUSTNamibiaLibrary and #LibraryLoversMonth. Drop your letter in the Suggestion Box on Level 3 of the Library to enter the competition.

So get your pens out, go old school and write a #loveletter that would rival Shakespeare.

The prize is a dinner for two at the ever popular Krisjans where all you need is love.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Only registered NUST students may participate.
• Collect a template from the Circulation Desk to write your letter on.
• Take a picture of you and your letter, post it on social media and tag @NustNamibiaLib. Submit the original letter at the Library.
• The letter should be approximately 30 words and must indicate your name and student number.
• The letters will be judged on grammar, composition, originality and value ascribed to the library.
• Only one entry per student is allowed.
• The work submitted must be original.
• The competition closes at 16:30 on Wednesday, 28 February 2018.
• The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and be announced on the Library’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
• The prize is non-negotiable and cannot be converted to cash.
• The winner must be willing to have their photo appear on NUST Library’s website and social media platforms after the handing over and when the prize is redeemed.
• By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
• All Employees of NUST and the sponsoring entity are excluded from participating in the competition.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
